Active & Passive Voice Rule 5: Passive Voice with Modals (can, may, should, must) | EduQuizIndia
Modals – Active to Passive Conversion
जब किसी sentence में Modal Verb (can, may, might, should, must, will have to आदि) होता है, तब Passive Voice बनाना बहुत आसान होता है।
सिर्फ एक ही बदलाव होता है:
- Modal के बाद be लगाना
- Main verb को V3 (Past Participle) बनाना
Formula
Active: Subject + modal + V1 + Object
Passive: Object + modal + be + V3 + by + Subject
Modal + be + V3 (Passive Rule Table)
| Active (Modal + V1) | Passive (Modal + be + V3) |
|---|---|
| can help | can be helped |
| may open | may be opened |
| should respect | should be respected |
| must follow | must be followed |
